“This is an event I am so proud to be a part of,” said Alanna Kroening, STAR 99.1 promotions and events coordinator. “Seeing the way God moves through the ballroom—the smiles on each daughter’s face and the childlike joy coming from dads—and through the event planning process, is nothing short of miraculous. It’s truly the best night of the year, and it’s something we—myself, our volunteer team (some of which includes my family and friends) and vendors—look forward to just as much as our guests do. “Nyong’o also announced that she is launching the FWH x Lupita Nyong’o Uterine Fibroid Grant in partnership with the Foundation for Women’s Health. The grant will fund medical research of uterine fibroids, according to the foundation’s official website.”
